Core Beliefs There is one true God Jesus is fully God and fully man Jesus is the Son of God Reconciliation with God as a result of the life, and the death, of Jesus Christ The physical resurrection of Jesus The teaching of the Holy Spirit The teaching of the Trinity The bible is the inspired word of God The anticipated second coming of Jesus ADDITIONAL TEACHINGS In addition to these core beliefs, Encounter Assembly teaches and practices the following: Divine Healing Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all Christ followers. Baptism in the Holy Spirit The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience to salvation. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers the Christian with a supernatural power for Christian living and service. All Christians are also entitled to, can expect, and should seek this promise of God.
